Hi, I’m Lorry the owner and creator of Mountain Glow Jewelry Co.

My story began over a decade ago when I fell in love with the natural beauty of stones. I spent many summers in the PNW mountains “rock hounding”. Collecting stones quickly became a hobby. I found myself wanting more and more but having the feeling of needing to do something with all these marvelous gems I was finding. Thus Mountain Glow Jewelry was born! Previously known as Faerie Jewelz.

I’m a self taught artist. In the early days I used the organic shaped raw stones I was collecting in the mountains. And I used recycled copper wire from old electronics. But it wasn’t long before I started to invest in higher quality supplies after I started to fall in love with wire wrapping.

I am a big lover of all things stones and crystals. I worked in a gem shop for nearly a decade. My great grandfather owned a mine in the Cascade mountains of Washington. The great PNW. My love for stones is something I like to think is in my blood and actually inherited from my elders. My grandmother passed down some beautiful very large quartz crystals found from the family mine. My love for stones started as early as I can remember.

The jewelry I make tends to be more simple because I want to truly showcase the beauty of the stones I’m using. I truly put a lot of love into everything I create admiring the stones amorously for hours.
