Marnie Lynn

Marnie Lynn Simmons is a traditional artist (dabbling in digital) based in East Wenatchee, Washington.
She has been putting brush and pen to paper throughout childhood and has continued to keep her love of art flowing through college and beyond. Over the years she’s been exploring and experimenting with multiple mediums including acrylics, inks, oils and watercolors. Among those, she has become passionate and fascinated with the simplicity, but also the complexity and unpredictability of ink and watercolor.
She has worked in collaboration as a guest artist with Higgins Inks, producing short art videos showing her creation process and posting finished work on social media. She was selected as an artist of the month at Aslan Brewing Co. in Bellingham where she displayed a large collection of her ink and watercolor pieces. She has taken a mural course at Wenatchee Valley College and is experienced with mural painting, applying her ideas on a large scale with several solo and collaboration mural artworks. Marnie’s most recent artwork was part of the Life’s Little Pleasures Small Works Show at The Confluence Art Gallery in Twisp, WA. Her stickers can also be found in the gift shop at The Confluence Art Gallery.
Her work is inspired by the natural surroundings of Central Washington and the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys capturing the beauty of nature while layering a mix of geometric and organic designs with bold black ink and color, always aspiring to find balance and harmony in her artwork.
