Lottie Parker is a visual artist and printmaker working in drawings and paintings on paper and traditional planographic and relief printmaking techniques. Since she could hold a pencil, she has processed life’s experiences and the world around her through drawing. Her work seeks to explore the human experience and our interconnectedness, both to one another and our natural and built environments. As a farmer’s wife and mother, she is particularly interested in narratives surrounding rural landscapes, agriculture, motherhood, and family dynamics.
Parker received her BFA in Printmaking from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, studying under Master Printer, Craig Cornwall, and her MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University in Seattle, WA. She has shown regionally at the Karen Hille Phillips Gallery, the Columbia Center for the Arts, the Downtown Tacoma Block Party, and the Lakewood Boys and Girls Club. Parker currently resides in Quincy, WA with her husband and two young children.
