Kay Kenyon writes fantasy and science fiction. Books, mostly, although she has been known to write a short story or two—but even those are Long. She is now working on her 21st novel, a fantasy. She has been a finalist for the Philip K. Dick Award and several others and recently had a trilogy optioned for film (The Dark Talents). Some of her recent work is the epic fantasy series, The Arisen Worlds and in 2026, a dystopian novel, The Thief of numbers. She often teaches at writing at conferences and at Wenatchee's Write on the River organization which she helped found.
