Joey & Me Jewelry

I create practical and wearable art jewelry pieces, frequently working with sterling silver and fine silver, and sometimes bronze, from my Wenatchee studio. I have always been interested in working with my hands and I’ve always been interested in jewelry. Those things came together when I was in college and allowed me to begin telling stories through my art. I do not design outside of my own experiences.

I completed silversmith jewelry courses at Central Washington University, stone-setting courses at Danica Designs in Seattle, and metal courses at North Seattle College. An Issaquah native, I have lived in Wenatchee since 2014.

I sell my jewelry online, in the Pybus Public Market concourse, at Sun Mountain Lodge near Winthrop, and at various festivals and markets.

My handmade art jewelry has been exhibited in several juried shows in Wenatchee, Seattle, and Bremerton, and those pieces have conveyed my view of societal events and issues.

My piece, “Trauma,” was selected for the 2023 Washington State Annual Juried Art Show at Bremerton's Collective Visions Gallery.

In 2022, ‘Through the Cracks,' ‘Barter Faire Cupid,’ and 'Trauma' were accepted into the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center’s regional juried art show

In 2021, my piece, ‘Bee Grateful for the Givers,’ was accepted into the “Show of Gratitude” juried art show held by Danica Design Studios in Seattle

In 2020, my piece, ‘Through the Cracks,’ was accepted into “The Statement” juried art show held by Danica Design Studios in Seattle.

In 2018, I received an honorable mention award for my piece, ‘Kitty Fallen,’ at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center’s regional juried art show. Two other pieces — “Lamprey” and “Scorched Earth” — also were part of that show.
