NCW Arts is dedicated to finding and promoting advocacy and funding opportunities for the arts in our region. This includes chances for direct communication with lawmakers and applications for grant funding for individuals or organizations.

Arts Innovator Award

Discipline: All Disciplines
 
The Arts Innovator Award recognizes artists who demonstrate innovation in their art practice. These unrestricted awards of $25,000 are given annually to two Washington State artists of any discipline who are originating new work, experimenting with new ideas, taking risks, and pushing the boundaries of their fields.

FY 24-25 General Operating Support: Sustaining (for Large Groups)

ArtsWA is offering a 2-year grant supporting arts organizations with day-to-day costs incurred between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2025. 

Application opens April 11 – May 23, 2023

ArtsWA is offering a 2-year grant for organizations that provide services for artists and arts organizations.

INSPIRATION LEAGUE

Join the Inspiration League and help include Culture in the 2023 Governor’s budget for Washington!

By becoming part of Inspire Washington’s Inspiration League, you will get direct notification about which bills are being considered and when direct action (letter writing, in-person advocacy, petitions) is needed.  

You will also find summaries of current requests that are up for discussion and decisions so you can stay well informed.

NCW Arts is proud to be a lead partner along with the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce, Entiat Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Wenatchi Wear as part of the 2022-2026 Action Plan in support of Community Centered Arts & Culture.

Our goal is to “raise awareness and support for more community-centered arts and cultural spaces and more diverse arts programming throughout the region. Develop a thriving and coordinated arts economy that features local artists and their work.”
