“Four Minutes of Fame: Write On The River’s Mid-Winter Open Mic”

Start 2026 off right and join local writers for a fun and casual evening at Write On The River’s Mid-Winter open mic event.

Want to try out a few pages of your recent inspiration? Eager to test drive the start of a novel? Are you poised to share part of your memoir? Got poems? We have a night for you! Register to read your original writing (about 4-5 minute’s worth) at “Four Minutes of Fame.” Not a contest or a slam, it’s an easy way to share your work with other writers.

Thursday, January 29 is the date, and Bob’s Burgers and Brew, 795 Grant Road (up the hill in East Wenatchee) is the place. Doors open at 6:00 for catch-up and mingling, and the program starts at 6:30, with food and beverage service available all evening.

It’s free to the public! Invite a friend and take the mic, or just be a supportive listener. Reading slots are limited, so sign up soon. You can register to read at writeontheriver.org.
