NCW Arts Alliance now offers fiscal sponsorship, allowing eligible artists and organizations to apply for grant funding that requires 501(c)(3) status.
What this means:
If you are an artist or an arts organization that is looking to apply for a grant that is only available to 501(c)(3) nonprofits, we can be that nonprofit.
There are guidelines and rules, of course.
(1) The reason you are asking for money has to be in direct alignment with the mission of the NCW Arts Alliance. Our Mission Statement is:
NCW Arts nurtures our region by uplifting and connecting artists and communities throughout North Central Washington.
(2) You are in charge of finding and writing the grant (we can be a resource, though).
(3) NCW Arts assumes the responsibility of handling the money and ensuring that it is used expressly to complete the project that you said you’d do in order to secure the grant funding.
(4) You must have written or verbal confirmation from NCW Arts before listing us as a fiscal sponsor on any grant applications.
(5) NCW Arts will assume a fee of 10% of the funding received in order to cover the costs of administering the grant.
