Join us for an evening with local artist, Lupillo Beltran to explore how humans utilize symbols to communicate and share stories and traditions. His presentation will highlight examples from the Aztecs, modern Mexico, and his family history from Guanajuato, Mexico.
Lupillo Beltran, Wenatchee High School alumni 2002. Beltran has lived and worked in the PNW since the 1990s, coming to the area as a migrant worker. Calling the West Coast his second home spanning from La Paz, Baja California Mexico all the way to Juneau, Alaska and all points in between. He has been creating illustrated works and Muralist works since 2000, starting with the Ferry Street mural in Wenatchee. Thursday, November 7th at 6 PM Event is FREE + open to all! |
