Our Mr. Matsura Documentary – Okanogan County Historical Society

Our Mr. Matsura, a feature documentary, is the story of photographer Frank Matsura who journeyed from his native Japan to live in rural Washington State in the early 1900s.  The son of a samurai, orphaned at a young age, Matsura was raised in Tokyo in the early Meiji Era, emigrated to Seattle as a young man and eventually made his way to Okanogan County.

Join us for a very special premiere and meet filmmaker Beth Harrington, the crew and cast members at the Omak Theater on Friday, April 18th, for the premiere and Saturday, April 19th, for the matinee.

Friday – Doors open at 5pm, presentation & film at 6pm

Saturday – Doors open at 1pm, presentation & film at 2pm.

Free Admission for All.  Run time: 90 minutes.
