Our Mr. Matsura Documentary – Okanogan County Historical Society

Our Mr. Matsura, a feature documentary, is the story of photographer Frank Matsura who journeyed from his native Japan to live in rural Washington State in the early 1900s.  The son of a samurai, orphaned at a young age, Matsura was raised in Tokyo in the early Meiji Era, emigrated to Seattle as a young man and eventually made his way to Okanogan County.

Join us for a very special premiere and meet filmmaker Beth Harrington, the crew and cast members at the Omak Theater on Friday, April 18^th, for the premiere and Saturday, April 19^th, for the matinee.

Friday – Doors open at 5pm, presentation & film at 6pm

Saturday – Doors open at 1pm, presentation & film at 2pm.

Free Admission for All.  Run time: 90 minutes.
