Author Kurt Caswell will be visiting Wenatchee Valley College on April 18th to help us celebrate Earth Day and Poetry Month.
He will be reading from his work from 7 pm to 8 pm in the Grove Recital Hall. Sharing the stage with him will be the student winners of WVC’s Annual Earth Day Poetry contest. Previous winning poems visible here
Kurt will be serving as the judge for this contest.
Following the reading will be a book signing. Kurt’s most recent collections are Going to See, Iceland Summer, and Laika’s Window.

In addition to the reading, Kurt is doing a walk and talk at Jacobson’s Preserve on April 18th from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. This event, like the reading, is free and open to the public. We will meet at the parking lot for the Preserve, which is located by the WRAC.
