Ekenbarger Ceramics and Pottery

Ekenbarger Ceramics and Pottery is located on the scenic shores of the Columbia River outside Chelan, Washington. This is a continuation of my grandmother Alyce Ekenbarger’s ceramic shop from the 1970s-1999. She specialized in slipcasting, and now, I have inherited her thousands of molds. My goal is to create a community studio for everyone to learn the wonderful art of ceramics. The open-shop times and events are available to all ages and skill levels because art has no age limit, and everyone is an artist. I am currently offering handbuilding classes for the community along with special events like flower pot glazing, jewelry making, and more to come. I plan to add on wheel-throwing classes once I am set up for that.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity I have inherited with endless possibilities to create. The shop will only continue to grow from here.
