Columbia River Community Flute Choir

The Columbia River Community Flute Choir shares their music throughout the community for many types of events and in many different venues. It is a joyful place for adult flutists to participate in a large ensemble and get to know other flutists in our area.

Directed by Suzanne Carr, we have been around since 2013, when we had about 5 members. In 2022, we became part of the Music offerings in the Continuing Education Department at Wenatchee Valley College. This allows us to hold our rehearsals and some concerts in the beautiful Grove Recital Hall in the Music & Arts Building on campus. As we prepare for the 2023 Holiday Season, we are proud of the now 20 plus members who are a part of this group! The ensemble includes C Flutes, Piccolos, Alto Flutes and Bass Flutes. We are thrilled to include the Wenatchee Valley Symphony members, church choir directors, a variety of band directors and music teachers as well as accountants, nurses, naturalists, mathematicians and more.

We usually perform for free, but are willing to take donations for music purchases and instrument repairs if funds are available.

Contact Director Suzanne Carr if you would like to check on dates for your performance, event or venue.
We perform either in a large group or in smaller ensembles if this fits the event or location.
