Call for artist proposals
Cascade Fisheries is a local non-profit working to improve conditions for our native fish through restoration, community engagement and education. Last year we completed a large salmon habitat restoration project on Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s property at the confluence of Peshastin Creek and the Wenatchee River (Dryden Dam public access). We’re working with a graphic designer to develop four interpretive signs describing the history of the Peshastin Creek watershed, steelhead ecology, stream and riparian habitat and the projects history. Aaron Logue, Credo Designs is our graphic designer and has generated examples of the signs with dimensions. We will work as a team to incorporate content provided by Aaron and the selected artist. We expect the costs for these deliverables to be from $2,000-$6,000.
We will select the artist who:
– Demonstrates an understanding of local flora, fauna and landscapes, and has
experience drawing or painting these landscapes,
– Demonstrates examples of these works in high quality digital format,
– Can provide valid business license within two weeks of being selected,
– Provides two personal or professional references that demonstrates their
collaborative nature.
– Ability to complete deliverables by September 1, 2026.
– Submits their proposal (see intake form below) to Jason@ccfeg.org by July 14th
5pm.
Timeline:
– Submissions due July 14th
