Call to Artists for Chelan Douglas Empty Bowls Art Donations

The Chelan Douglas Community Action Council is celebrating another Empty Bowls event starting this November and ending in April as a fundraiser for our Food Distribution program.
This event generates awareness about those in our community that face food insecurity and need assistance.
We have community members come and paint the bowls then we glaze them and fire them in a kiln. At the end of the Empty Bowls program is a modest meal of soup donated by local restaurants.
We are looking for sponsors to help fund the painting days and the dinner day, as well as items for our Silent Auction.
We are reaching out to you to see if any artists would like to create a bowl (or other artistic creation) on their own and then donate it for our auction?

Our Soup Meal is scheduled for Saturday, April 12th at Wenatchee High School.

Our painting days with community members will be at Pybus on Nov. 17th, Jan. 17th and Feb. 21.

Any donations or support for Chelan Douglas Community Action Council’s Empty Bowl event is welcomed.
