Amber Zimmerman is a fourth-generation woman artist. She grew up in her parent’s art glass shop with a well-stocked art room. Amber enjoys working with mixed mediums to create symbolic art that celebrates the connection to the cycles of nature. Amber earned her B.A. from The Evergreen State College in Environmental Art, in 2000, and her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2023, from Central Washington University. She has been active in the local arts community and has participated in several groups and solo gallery shows throughout Washington State for 25 years. In addition to her studio work, Amber teaches art education to grades TK-5th at the Leavenworth elementary schools and co-teaches mini-retreats.
