Allison Teal Lewis

Allison is a life-long Northwest creative. She loved the beauty in nature growing up in the Wenatchee area and as a child created with her hands and any 2D art form she discovered as well as a love for music. Exploring different mediums and styles at the University of Washington in college, she received a B.A. in Visual Arts and several years later a B.A. from C.W.U. in Art Education. It wasn’t until 2018 that Allison really began creating art to sell in the marketplace and shows and teaching private art classes.
Her amazingly supportive husband Dan and 4 kids have lived in and loved the small town of Cashmere, WA for the last 19 years. They are nestled against the Cascade mountains that provide endless inspiration, and some other favorites include hiking, road trips, international food and any adventure that leads to beauty.
What inspires her art, life, and view of nature is The Creator, the ultimate master artist. Currently her bodies of work focus on inspirational hand lettering, and local northwest landscapes. Custom commissioned work varies from personal family statement pieces or views, to a hospital art installation grant in Puyallup, to CD, website and book cover art. Most current paintings are created with a watercolor /mixed media resist process and metallic leaf application, respectively. Her specific abstract landscape technique is a unique way to create a printmaking inspired effect, using watercolor. The subjects and styles reflected in her art are one means to express and connect with beauty and The Creator behind it all. Allison’s response to creation in land, sky, space and words of hope she sees are needed today, are what fuel her paintbrush.
