Nena Howell creates contemporary figurative oil paintings with deep reverence for her Tlingit formline and Ukrainian roots. Guided by ancestral rhythm and a sense of wellness, she infuses every canvas with movement, abundance, and stewardship.
After a successful career in business and marketing, Howell pivoted full-time to her art practice in winter 2020. She is represented by Gallery 110 in downtown Seattle, and her award-winning work has been featured in juried exhibitions across the Pacific Northwest. Raised in Edmonds, Howell now creates out of her studio in Wenatchee, Washington.
