We invite artists of all mediums to submit work for Familiar Faces, an exhibition at The Guild Art Center and Gallery exploring the portrait beyond convention. This show seeks to challenge the traditional idea of likeness, encouraging interpretations that reveal personality, memory, emotion, or essence rather than mere physical resemblance.

Beyond the Face: From abstract impressions to symbolic figurative representations, from fragmented forms to layered narratives — we want portraits that feel familiar in spirit, yet unexpected in form. Think beyond the canvas: photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, installation, and experimental approaches are welcome.
