DESCRIPTION:Now in its 26th year\, the nonprofit Wenatchee Jazz Workshop brings world-class jazz to the valley for a week\, culminating in “Jazznights.”\nSix professional musicians from L.A. and New York spend the week teaching and mentoring high school and middle school jazz band students from Eastmont and Wenatchee school districts. \nThursday the pros perform as the LA6 sextet\, at Eastmont High School; there’s no admission charge. \nFriday’s concert at Wenatchee High School features the students\, with the pros sitting in; tickets are $15. \nBoth concerts begin at 7 p.m. The Workshop is an affiliate of the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
