DESCRIPTION:The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center and NCW Arts Alliance invites you to this collaborative workshop series featuring regional artists and educators. \nTry your hand at a variety of creative mediums this summer\, delving into the art of Japanese calligraphy\, paper crafting\, painting and fiber arts in our Makerspace studio. These courses are for ages 16+ and are great for all skill levels – beginners welcome! \nOn Saturday\, August 10\, from 1-3 PM\, learn alongside the multi-talented Sunny Hemphill in this beginner-friendly class. Students will use an easy paint scraping technique and paint markers to create a colorful portrait of your pet. This will be a fun and relaxing project for beginners and more experienced artists alike! \nThis workshop costs $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
