If you’re looking for a “fun night out near me\,” come join us in the studio! We will be hosting sessions monthly with different themes. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to day or follow us on social media (Facebook & Instagram). \nThese wood puzzles are designed & produced in-house. This puzzle is apple shaped – celebrating that we are the Apple Capital of the world\, Two Bears (Saddlerock)\, blossoms and “Wenatchee\, Washington” text. We will begin with putting our puzzles together\, and then you choose how to paint your very own puzzle! The designs are etched into the wood for a template or you can paint however you wish. Once painted\, we seal with an acrylic spray to protect the paint and provide a long-lasting fun family puzzle. \nClass begins promptly at the start time\, please come 15-20 minutes early to find your seat.\nOUTSIDE BEVERAGES INCLUDING WINE AND BEER PROHIBITED BY LAW FOR ALL PUBLIC CLASSES AND EVENTS. SUMMARY:Empty Bowls painting event
DESCRIPTION:What is it? Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger growing across the nation and the world. The idea is that potters\, artists\, and community members’ work together to create custom hand crafted bowls. This event combines compassion with creativity while generating public awareness with the community members. Proceeds benefit food distribution centers and meal programs in Chelan and Douglas counties.\n\nHow does it work? There is a $15 donation and then community members will receive a bowl to decorate and paint. After the bowls are collected\, they are glazed then fired in a kiln. Once this is done following three paint days\, we host a celebration at Wenatchee High School.\n\nThe final celebration will be at Wenatchee High School on Saturday\, April 12\, 2025 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. We will enjoy soup together with the bowl you created. For those who did not paint a bowl but wish to attend the Soup Meal the fee is $5 for the donation. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of beautiful holiday music performed by Leavenworth Village Voices to benefit the Cascade Choir Crescendo Campaign. \nIt will be an unforgettable night with guest performances by the Cascade High School Choir. Before the show and during intermission you can peruse the silent auction and raffle items that will support the Icicle River Middle School Arts program and enjoy baked goods at our bake sale. The event will be held at Cascade High School. Bring the whole family to this wonderful evening. \nIf you are unfamiliar with the Cascade Choir Crescendo Campaign\, in Spring 2024 school districts throughout the nation struggled with their budgets. In the Cascade School District\, our Choir program was one of the cuts that needed to be made. The Cascade PTSA\, the Performing Arts Boosters\, the Superintendent\, School board and the choir students didn’t want to see the program cut. We worked with together to determine the amount of funds needed to retain the program until the school Levy can pass. The Cascade Choir Crescendo Campaign was born out of this collaboration. We have $15\,000 left to raise out of the $65\,000 needed to fully fund the choir program for the 2024-25 school year and $65\,000 to raise to fund the 2025-26 school year. Your support is deeply appreciated! We are grateful to Leavenworth Village Voices and to you for supporting the Cascade students and helping to retain our choir program. But soon\, Holmes is visited by the ghost of his great enemy Professor Moriarity\, who warns Holmes that he is heading towards his own damnation and tells him of an upcoming visit by three spirits. During the visits that follow\, we learn about Holmes’ childhood and his lost love\, the chaos that his early retirement has caused his friends and associates throughout London\, and finally a terrifying future: Holmes sees himself\, a cold creature of pure intellect\, supplying weapons to the battlefields of the First World War.
